someone is a famous mathematician born in the early 19th centaury , once that his age was X in the year X square (X2) , in which year was he born? please help me!!!

This question cannot be soloved generally by formulae . But the answer of this question is obvious. Let A be the year he was born . 1801<= A <= 1900 ( A + X ) <- The year that he was X years old Given that X^2 = A+X Also 1801< X^2 <= 1900 sqrt(1801) < X <= sqrt(1900) 42.44 < X <= 43.59 Since X must be an integer and there is only one integer which satisfies X is 43 , X is 43 X^2 = 43^2 A + X = X^2 = 43^2 A = 1849 - 43 A = 1806 *He was born in 1806
