I am planing to study CC in US. Still struggling which CC should i choose and give some reason . HKDSE GRADES 45452=20 1)Bunkerhill CC 2)Seattle Cenbtral 3)foothill 4)De Anza 5)santa monica college 6)Hillsborough CC I dont mind in which area or district to study. pls hep me thx 更新: do u have other recoomendation on other community school in California ? as i want to contiue my degree which may not in the same state . for example i want to study in Hillsborough CC but want to contiue my university degree in california . is that possible???? thanks for your kindly help 更新 2: *** continue

Since you took out one of the key factors - living, then you should determine based on your target schools, assuming you will not transfer out-of-state (you will stay in the same state to finish your degree). Please note - every community college is about the same. So there is nothing worth to compare. However, there are a few tips I can give for some colleges: 3-4. Foothill/De Anza College They are in fact the same school (as they are under Foothill-De Anza Community College District). And they are overrated by agents claiming for better chance in transferring to UCs. As a fact, there are schools which have a higher transfer rate. And the most important is it is based on your result, not your school. 5. Santa Monica College Basically, its situation is similar to Foothill/De Anza College (overrated). Also, people may be scared due to the following incident: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Santa_Monica_shooting 6. Hillsborough Community College It is located in a city that has limited public transportation. Unless you know how to drive, you will face a great difficulty at the beginning. My recommendation is 1 and 2 only. If you want a California community college, you can choose something else other than 3, 4, and 5. 2014-07-26 13:43:25 補充： 1. It is possible that the courses you took in Florida are not recongized by UCs.
